Creative Europe MEDIA is a support programme of the European Commission that aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the European film, television and new media industries and the international circulation of film works. The programme supports the development of projects (films, video games and VR), further training and the promotion and dissemination of European works.
Since 2014, MEDIA will be part of the larger Creative Europe programme, whose current life cycle is in operation for the period 2021-2027. There will be an increased budget, modernised support mechanisms and a continued strong desire to be a good partner and companion for the European audiovisual industry.
The Creative Europe MEDIA Desk, or information desk, provides comprehensive information on media funding. In addition, we organize industry-specific events and help to introduce the program more widely in Estonia. The Creative Europe Information Point is located at the Estonian Film Institute.
