As part of the project, a survey of e-books, consisting of two surveys, was carried out in ten countries last year. The aim of the first survey was to obtain information about the user experience of e-books for ordinary readers, while the second sought to gain insight into the needs of blind and partially sighted people when using e-books. In addition to the analysis of the user experience, both surveys also helped to identify the problems associated with e-books, as well as an overview of which devices are used and which types of files are preferred.

We are pleased to bring you a short report of the survey, which you can find on the website of the National Library of Estonia: www.nlib.ee/raport.

Happy reading!
