"Across the Border" was chosen as the best European youth film

On 25 April, more than 3500 young European film enthusiasts from 38 countries jointly selected the Norwegian adventurous family film "Flukten over grensen" as the best European youth film. Organised by the European Film Academy (EFA), the event was held for the tenth time. More than 50 young Estonian film lovers also took part in the online film day.

Other finalists were the Irish-Luxembourgish-French animated film "Wolfwalkers" (dir. Tomm Moore, Ross Stewart) and the Italian-French booklet "Pinocchio" (dir. Matteo Garrone), both of which were also nominated for the Oscars.
