The European Commission has launched a dedicated platform called Creatives Unite, which helps artists share information and potential measures more easily during the current coronavirus crisis.

Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, said: "The coronavirus is having a devastating economic impact on the cultural and creative sectors. This online platform offers the cultural and creative sectors the opportunity to share ideas and initiatives and co-create solutions.

The launch of the platform is a follow-up to the video conference of EU culture ministers on 8 April, where Commissioner Gabriel announced his initiative. The platform is managed by the European Commission's Creative FLIP pilot project, led by the Goethe Institute in cooperation with the European Network of Creative Hubs and other partners. The platform offers a common space for all those seeking information on initiatives in the cultural and creative sectors that respond to the coronavirus crisis. It provides access to a range of available resources and numerous relevant networks and organisations in one space. It also provides a curated space to co-create and upload contributions to find solutions.
