The Oscar for a foreign language film was won by the MEDIA-funded "Next Circle".

The film is the newest film by award-winning Danish director Thomas Vinterberg, which, in addition to an Oscar, also participated in the main program of the Cannes Film Festival and has been awarded the title of best film of the European Film Academy 2020.
